    Setup

Everything this page needs, in order.

    1 · Run the server

    1. Open a terminal in web/ and run pnpm install once.
    2. Start it with node server.mjs. It prints a local address and a LAN address.
    3. Leave the terminal open. The page reconnects on its own if it restarts.

    2 · Connect the game

    1. Run the Monochrome script in Roblox with the server up.
    2. It connects to by itself and retries every 3 s.
    3. The status pill top-right turns green; every tab fills in from the game.

    3 · Your phone

    1. Same Wi-Fi as this PC.
    2. Press the phone button top-right and scan the QR, or type the LAN address.
    3. Windows Firewall may ask once to allow Node on private networks: allow it.

    4 · 3D avatar in the preview

    1. Roblox only hands out 3D avatars to authenticated callers. Create an Open Cloud key at create.roblox.com/dashboard/credentials with Thumbnails → Read.
    2. Start the server with the key in its environment:
      PowerShell: $env:ROBLOX_API_KEY="…"; node server.mjs
      bash: ROBLOX_API_KEY=… node server.mjs
    3. Without it the preview shows the flat render of your avatar instead. Nothing else changes.

    5 · Using it

    1. Every switch, slider, dropdown and colour here is the same control as in-game: change it anywhere, both sides update.
    2. Press / to search settings. Hover the ? on a card for what it does.
    3. Overview shows the live preview, players, kill feed and session stats.

    6 · Supporters

    1. The Support Us tab in-game copies the work.ink link; the page at the end gives a key.
    2. Redeem it there. Keys unlock nothing: your name wears a ★ for 30 days, for everyone running Monochrome.
